"I am the good shepherd:
the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that
is a hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are
not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth:
and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep." (John 10:11,12)
Speaking of the Second Coming which includes the Tribulation
"For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord
[Rapture and the Tribulation] so cometh as a thief in the night.
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden
destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman
with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren
[believers], are not in darkness, that that day should overtake
you as a thief." (1 Thessalonians 5:2-5) |
