Just  in  case you are wondering why we keep  writing  about  the Pope, Billy Graham, Promise Keepers, Mormons, Jehovah's  Witnesses,  the  Mormons, the Masons, the Toronto  Blessing,  Pensacola, Joyner's  Morning Star, Paul Caine, Kenneth Copeland and  on  and on,  we are finding that they all have something in common  which is not visible to the naked eye, it is below the surface. We have to  focus on the root.
Ecumenism  was not started by the Apostles nor the early  church. Ecumenism is the seed of the devil that the Bible talks about. It is  not the vine we are to become one with. The world is  singing unity from the roof tops. Its gentle waves of all the  benevolent favors that will befall us by uniting with our atheist  neighbors under  the  banner  that we are all one anyway, so  why  not  get together and forget about the truth which caused wars,  disrupted families, proselytizing members from one church to another.
Lets  all be one big brotherhood. Kenneth Copeland  was  coaching his  listeners  not to discriminate against  other.  Just  accept everyone  as  your  brother. What if your "brother"  is  a  Satan worshiper.  I listened to Kenneth Copeland for twelve  years,  as well  as  Billy  Graham, Kathryn Kuhlman,  Oral  Roberts,  Morris Ceruilo, Paul Crouch, Rex Humbard, Vicky Jamison, Mario  Murillo, Marilyn  Hickey, Pat Robertson, Robert Schuller,  Norman Vincent Peale, even attended Catholic Masses, Lutheran congregations  and not  one even so much as wisphered at me that I was  attending  a Satanic movement. I have to ask, "why is that?"
When  I left the Mormon church, I went to a Copeland crusade  and came  forward  when Gloria asked people to share  their  healings (benefits)  from the Copeland ministry in front of  thousands  of people. Gloria  was mortified when I told the audience that the  Copeland ministry  was  partly responsible for my departure from  the  LDS Church.  She assured me that it was an impossibility because  her husband  preaches unity. I was puzzled at the time. She  told  me that  I  was in trouble and that I needed an extra  dose  of  her anointing to keep me safe. I had an accident that weekend,  broke my  toe,  and spent the most horrendous painful weekend  ever  in Fort  Worth  because I was alone hundreds of miles from  home.  I will  never forget it. Satan was warning me what would become  of me if I tried to testify again which I could not regard,  because I would be guilty of the same offense to God. The offense of  not alarming  Christians to the danger they are in,  regarding  false prophets.

I noticed in an Assemblies of God denomination. a highly  revered visiting  evangelist lady preacher, pointing a finger at  me  and say "I didn't say that, she did," as if to say, I'm not responsible for that statement. I felt naked and totally threatened  that I might be under attack again.
I  believe God put me through a number of experiences to make  me realize that the Mormons are not the only problem. We are  beginning  to  get  some proof that the Masonic  brotherhood  is  more prevalent  then we thought. I'm not saying that there are  Masons in  every church. What I am saying is that Masons have  permeated the consciousness of the world through the media, through  "evangelists"  and by conversation, that people now believe that  it's beneficial  to our society. I have no doubt it is, if there were no God.
When you study God's Word, you will find that you can't  participate  in  this unity. God asks us to come out from this  kind  of unity.  Jesus said: "I am come to set a man at variance  against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be  they of  his own household. He that loveth father or mother more  than me  is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter  more than  me is not worthy of me. And that taketh not his cross,  and followeth after me, is not worthy of me." (Matt. 10:35-37)  Micah 7:5-7:  'Trust  ye  not in a friend put ye not  confidence  in  a guide:  keep  the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth  in  thy bosom. For the son dishonoreth the father, the daughter riseth up against  her  mother, the daughter in law against her  mother  in law;  a  man's enemies are the men of his own  house."  In other words, Jesus is telling us resting in Him is the only way to find peace when even one's own family forsakes him (Heb. 13:5).
Many a family splits and the parties involved often don't  understand  why the problems occurs. When you study the situation  you will  find in many cases that a true Christian practically  finds it  impossible to live with a heathen. Think of a demonic  spirit in the heathen which is what it is, and the temptation to  harass the  Christian,  ridicule, demoralize,  discourage,  dishearten, deject,  depress, debase, defile, adulterate, corrupt, dishonor, pervert, seduce and taint. Why? because the spirit of the heathen is at war with the Holy Spirit in the true Christian.
We  often like a person a lot and can't understand why we have  a problem  getting  into agreement. When their spirits are  at  war there can't be agreement. This fact points out why the world  has to  have this unity under any circumstances to remain  at  peace. The world has sold God for peace.
Yasser  Arafat  stated, he will be the beacon of peace.  The  Mid East seemed unrepairable. Money has made the difference. Germany, Russia and now China are falling in line one by one for  economic reasons.
Transference of American moneys to the rest of the world is  what makes  the  rest of the world surrender to our way of  life.  The pope, and the brotherhood (which begins with political and  quasi Christian leaders) are the negotiators moving people into realizing the benefits of becoming brothers and sisters.
Mormons are a good example. The world loves them because they are dedicated to serving the world free of charge, it doesn't  matter what  the  recipients believe. Their successful  lures  worldwide show the social benefits and security people derive from becoming members.  They don't tell people that the dollars to  build  this system will come out of their pocket through donations of  money, food,  clothing  and  housing, depriving them  of vacations  and enjoyment of their labors.
The  Masonic  brotherhood takes an oath to protect  each  other. They  can  practice  any religion. In the  DeMolay,  their  youth organization,  they  are encouraged to go to  some church  every Sunday.
Jesus was addressing the benevolence factor in this Scripture and it's  abuses resulting in the big deception, when he stated  that outside  of the cup looks great - the collections go to the  poor in  other  countries - which motivates us to give  more.  Serving each other looks Christian but how can it be Christians when Baal worshipers use the concept to increase their flock.
"Woe  unto  you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for  ye  make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within  they are  full of extortion and excess." (Matthew 23:25/  Luke  11:39)
The  Apostle Paul must have addressed that problem in the  Church when he warned the congregation with this interesting statement: "But I [say], that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice,  they sacrifice  to  devils, and not to God: and I would  not  that  ye should  have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the  cup  of the  Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers  of  the Lord's  table,  and  of  the table  of  devils." (1  Corinthians 10:20,21)  We can't buy our way into heaven with  donations.  The Old  Testament Law has been fulfilled by the sacrifice  of  God's Son.
The following Scriptures which Paul related to people who were at Pentecost and received the Holy Spirit and those who received the baptism  of the Holy Ghost by the Apostles who had  received  the Holy Ghost from Jesus Himself. There was no doubt whatsoever that they were the true Church.
"And  sold  their possessions and goods, and parted them  to  all [men],  as every man had need." (Acts 2:45) To a "Temple"  Mormon this is the law of consecration. This law is dropped on them when they go through the temple thinking that they are marrying  their mate for eternity. During the ceremony, the husband and wife  are asked  to  endow their goods, their time, their  talents  to  the church, even though they are not the true church.
The  world  is using the Gospel such as: "Neither was  there  any among  them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of  lands or  houses sold them, and brought the prices of the  things  that were sold," (Acts 4:34) to get their agenda accomplished which is not  eternal life with God, but a flourishing  worldwide  economy which makes the elite rich and the poor work harder than ever. We contribute  to  the power of the false prophets  by  putting our money there.
Born  again Christians are in God's care, remembering the  Scriptures: "And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the  lilies of  the  field,  how they grow; they toil not,  neither do  they spin:"  (Matthew 6:28) "Are not five sparrows sold for  two  farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore:  ye are of more value than many sparrows." (Luke 12:6,7)
"The  present trend of Dominion Theology (transforming the  world for  Jesus now before he comes back) is against: 1. The  infallibility, inerrancy and final authority of the Holy Scriptures.  2. The  literal interpretation and meaning of the  Holy  Scriptures. (They believe that the Bible needs to be interpreted allegorically and to be spiritualized instead of literal interpretation). 3. The  physical  identity  of Israel, as a Chosen  People  of  God, destined  to literally fulfill all the Scriptures  applicable  to her.  (Dominion  Theology rejects Israel as a  Chosen  Nation  of God).
Take a look at the Assemblies of God denomination. It was  warned years  ago  to respond to the deluge of teachings  that  were  at variance  with  their Statement of Fundamental Truths  but  they chose  to  put off the warnings. Dominion  Theology,  Pentecostal movements,  and  the Shepherding Movement which  works  within  a pyramid  system making  every shepherd  accountable  to  another shepherd  under the headship of a Head Shepherd who  exercises  a position  of authority is now undermining the Assemblies  of God movement.  The cry is now: DOMINION, PEACE and PROSPERITY,  which is also the WORD OF FAITH message. The house is  burning,  where are the firemen?? (from Discernment Ministries Newsletter September/ October 1998)
The "shepherding movement" is very active in Promise Keepers. Our ministry  was targeted in Denver by lay people who were  involved on  several occasions. They were very aggressive, persistent  and insistent  that we should participate. We just ignored them  week after  week and they finally stopped calling after many weeks  of harassment. Someone in the group was getting our newsletter. They called us to their house under false pretenses. We went once. The woman  who preached was from Africa and had "the anointing."  She prophesied  what our future was going to bring which didn't  come to pass and tried to put us under the power which was  impossible even with her gentle nudging to push us down if all else failed.

"The "shepherding movement" can be traced back to what was  known in the 1940s as the Latter Rain Movement against which the Assemblies  of God took firm action and basically eliminated them.  It is  now back with a different veneer and this time it  is  WORSE. The  spirit of those heresies only hibernated and there seems  to be no stopping it now.
"Franklin Hall wrote several books which had a tremendous  influence on the church even today fifty years later. 1) Atomic  Power with God Through Fasting and Prayer. Many prominent  "Christians" still  advocate 40 day fasts. Another book "The Return to  Immortality, which suggests that we can become immortal through stages of spiritual growth. He said the "immortality blessings" come  in more  successfully because closed eyes destroy  faith.  Substance like  fine gold and silver from the planet Venus and Mars,  which he  planned to visit at some point, would sparkle from  the  skin and  bring  through  faith-power of impartation.  Note  the  word impartation  has  become a normative  expression  within  today's church.  Another book "Formula for Raising the Dead" is only  for "advanced" Holy Ghost people.
William  Branham  believed  the Word of God was  given  in  three forms:  The Zodiac, the Egyptian pyramid and the  written  Scriptures. He stated that when Eve said, "The serpent beguiled me and I  did  eat", she meant the serpent seduced her and out  of  this affair Cain was born. Consequently, women are responsible for the evil in the world. Oral Roberts who quoted Branham, reported that he would feel a manifestation of God's presence in his right hand which would be a point of contact between the believer and  God's healing power. [I have heard Oral Roberts say that he didn't know much about the Word and did not particularly study the Word, that he is a healer]
"Today we have the "New Breed Teaching" resulting in an increased level of "spirituality" which will inherently cause the  recognition  of  these `anointed ones' who are the  elite,  "Christians" called "Joel's Army". Joel's Army is thought to be  unconquerable and  will have the power to judge God's enemies and  cleanse  the church  by destroying all who refuse to "repent" - or to be  part of the "new Thing".
"Charles Simpson, (formerly one of the `Fort Lauderdale Five'  of the Shepherding/ Discipleship era) likens this "cleansing" to the removal of cancer cells.
"We  must  work toward wholeness in creation by  discovering  and recognizing  those  structures  which God  has  ordained..  [T]he material, social, and spiritual universe are created in a modular fashion. and are mutually interdependent.
"Structures which are internally sound and secure will  naturally seek to harmonize and interrelate with large structures.. it will naturally  seek to find its fulfillment in larger structures.  It is written into our genetic code. Healthy individuals will  naturally seek to relate to families..; healthy families to churches; healthy  churches  to  communities; and  healthy  communities  to states or nations. Each church will seek to relate to the  larger expressions of the Church or the kingdom of God. Healthy  nations will  form healthy, mutually beneficial  international  relationships. I firmly believe that this principle is a law of nature, a divine law.
"Failure to integrate into larger structures indicates a tendency towards  isolation, and therefore reveals an unhealthy  condition or  a malfunction.. The condition expresses itself in many  ways; sectarianism,  fear, doubt, guilt, selfishness. If a  cell  turns and rejects the physiological structure of which it is a part; if a  person turns and rejects the family of which he is a part;  or if  a  family turns and rejects the community of which  it  is  a part; the rejection indicates an unhealthy condition or some sort of malfunction...
"Cancer is a biological example of what I am talking about.  Cancerous  cells  want to live, but they refuse  to  integrate  with other  cells;  they will not function with the whole.  They draw life  from the body, they multiply, but they will  not  integrate with  others.. "New Age "prophets".. hold that these wonders will only truly  be manifested  when  there is an "elimination" of  "unhealthy"  elements: "The fetus of the New Humanity is already stirring in  the Womb  of Time and, like the human mother, humanity must learn  to eliminate  its  waste materials and poisons and  give  the  fetus proper  nourishment or the life of both the child and the  mother will  be  endangered..  This is the work  of  present  transitory conditions. Despite differences, all "religions" will culminate in the coming Antichrist according to the Gospel. He will meet the ideal in all hearts as the solution to end all tribulation and suffering which beset  humanity and will establish unity founded on  an  international mystical brotherhood of all people. There is an effort now not only from the churches but from political leaders to participate  in benevolent efforts to end inequalities  worldwide  which leads to membership in organizations of one kind or another.  The organizations are somehow linked which will lead to an  organized hierarchy necessary for eventual theocracy to take place.

The  editor of Discernment writes: "Although we are only  a  remnant,  a  minority - just a handful, our position is  likened  to Gideon.  There were only three hundred men in the army of  Israel qualified  to  represent the truth and to go to war  against  the enemy.  The  enemy  far  out-numbered  Israel.  We  are  in   the minority...  Christ  is going to fight the great  battle.  He  is coming  to  take dominion of the earth. He  shall  establish  His kingdom on earth and He shall build His temple.. We don't need  a political  system to establish us in God's Kingdom. The  Word  of God  has already established us. We are born again by the  Spirit and by the Word of God.
